How do you know if your email account has been hacked?

Think my Hotmail account might of been stung by a bit of spamming.

Just got a notification failure from MAILER-DAEMON@yahoo.com.

it says i have tried to send a message to those addresses. Weird. I obviously haven't.

These are just spam e-mails hoping you respond, just delete
you need to change your password, yahoo got hacked in october and never told anyone and still wont admit it
your account hasn't been hacked. a spammer has simply used your email address in the "sent from" field in their spam. their spam then hit a dead email account and the mailer daemon bounced it back to you since it thought your account sent it.

this happens so much it is of no concern - and it is technically very very easy to do.

you might want to delete your e-mail details from the OP lol
