How do you live in London?

Whenever me and the wife have visited London, we blow our noses at the end of the day in the hotel and the tissue is black. So how do Londoners get on living there day to day?

I'm glad I live in a village

They blow their noses every day maybe?
Honestly, some of your questions defy logic. What are you expecting people to say?

I wish I could afford to live in a village

1. Use a black tissue.
2. Get a coke habit.... with the mix it'll become a greyish colour then

I know exactly what you mean. I have a lot of love for London, but goddamn, it reaks something shocking. The air just smells thick of dirt and pollution.

Hint: You could, if you had a job.

30years in London never had black stuff come out my nose.

Centre of London possibly I could understand that might be the case.

Going from the country straight there maybe that makes sense?

Occasionally going into centre I might notice something but otherwise maybe it just blends in as i move towards the west end lol

Do tourist stuff or a few years ago I was kayaking on the Thames, almost died. I went to some posh place and had a sandwich, then to some walk way or other near London bridge booked into a hotel and there were all these black people across the road shouting at me for being white.

Are you mad?
The Thames is filthy lol
luckyly only a miniscule percentage of Londoners are subject to it in anyway

As a Chef when I move jobs to other kitchens I notice all the Air conditioning is different & sometimes you get nose bleeds & sometimes you just get a blocked nose. What I find happens is after a few days you seem to get used to it & stop having a bloody nose or Blocked nose. It's like if your body knows how to adapt to the conditions in time.

just be thankful it got stuck in your nose, it could have reached your lungs lol

I notice this too whenever I go to london. The pollution, litter and smell is horrendous but I guess you get used to it
