how does an uplift number work for a TV

hi have a faulty hisense 75m7900 hisense wont fix i guess due to cost of a new panel , retailer is ao.com hisense said i will have the uplift code in the next 2 days , but how does it work do i pick a tv to the same value as paid for the current one ? what happens if i pick a tv that is less in value anyone know thanks . do you get refunded the differance

What has AO and/or Hisense told you?

Your consumer rights are with AO. You don't say how old the TV is but if it's under 6 months then it is considered faulty at time of purchase. If more than 6 then the onus is on you to prove the fault.
we had a hisense fridge freezer which was faulty from AO ring them you contract is with them they picked it up and we chose another make and model and got a discount for the time wasted they will try and help you as much as possible as they want the sale on a side note Hisense did not even apologise for the broken freezer and will never get my custom again
