looking at taking out vodafone unlimited min and text and 20gb data deal for £20

how is vodafone 4g signal and is the wif calling feature easy to set up?

  2. Vodafone
5 Comments all depends on your area really. Best way to check(ish) would be to see signal from the PAYG sims out there.

Vodafone has best signal here for me whilst EE's "very good" signal barely gets 3G or 1 bar 4G if i'm lucky...

ok will check is it correct that 084 number not included in minutes allowance with voda is this same for all other mobile operators too?

also Im with Talkmobile at the moment that use vodafone and on there 3g data i get speed of about 2mb would I most likely get same speed with a vodafone sim (but think there 4g speed will be ok) according to coverage checker.

I frequently get full 4g signal on Voda but get fed up waiting for web pages to load sometimes because it really is that painfully slow. On the other hand my ee mobile gets super fast internet when there are only 1 or 2 bars, and is still good on 3g or h or h+

That the problem I have with talk mobile slow page loading

I'm pretty sure they are the worst for 4g overall but as said before some areas they may be better. In general its EE>Three>O2>Vodafone

Also Talk mobile used vodafones network so its more than likely vodafone wont be good for you either. Ask friends/family how their signal is otherwise you can always try out some payg sims (three offer one that gives 200mb free each month you could use for testing)
