How long does it take to get paid in ebay?

I listed an auction and the person who bought it hasn't payed for it yet. When I buy something I always pay for it by Paypal instantly once I've won it or in the morning on the next day. I've sent an invoice, but still nothing... Is it normal for people to take days to pay for things?

Not everyone is as good as us people:) The ones that take ages to pay really anoy me:x

Buyer might be on holiday.

You're supposed to wait 7 days before filing NPB.

I pay straight after the auction, they should at least contact you in the first day or so imo

 Sorry, I like ur Bumble bee:roll:

try sending the buyer an email and see if they answer it. just an idea.

Some pay straight away, others wait days and days. Like t0mm says, you have to wait before you can start to file for non-payment. You are best off sending a message or two, and see what the response is. If you get nothing back, you are probably going to end up having a npb on your hands.

Thanks very much for the feedback. I think I'll send them a message telling them I'd like to get it posted soon as to avoid the postal strikes. I don't understand why some people are so eager to buy something that they snipe, but then they don't care about it afterwards. Would a npb guarentee anything?

At least it's not the other way around I once bought something from a person who didn't ship the item until two weeks afterwards, saying that they had gone on a cruise where there was no internet access. Honestly, if you're going to use ebay, don't buy or sell anything if you know you're going on a long holiday very soon!

He may be away or sending you a cheque if you allow cheque payments. You've sent your invoice, just sit tight for a few more days.

If you go to that link and enter the buyer's username and the item number, ebay will then e-mail you (it wont go to your ebay messages) with the buyer's registered information including address and- more importantly in your case- telephone number. Then you could call them and see what's happening.
