its half way between a 10 and 11

Just wear thick socks..........

it's half a size and with trainers you should be able to get away with it no problem. Wear thicker socks if they seem to big and put an insole in them.

So does that mean a guy who wears a size 13 shoe has a 13 incher? oO

If I remenber right, half a shoe size is 1/6 th of an inch (just over 4mm)

Here's some info on shoe sizing http://www.i18nguy.com/l10n/shoes.html

Each manufacturer is different with their sizing so you can never be 100% when comparing one against the other. I am the type of person who has to try on footwear as I am 10 or 11 depending on make.
