How much for a bespoke Joomla Template?

I have a friend who currently has a website built on Joomla using a free template. They want to change substantial parts of it, colour, layout, etc. basically beyond a tinker with the template.

They don't mind joomla itself and the content is staying broadly the same.

Just as a matter of interest really (and to make sure she's not getting ripped off) does anyone do this for a living? Anyone got one done? How much would be she looking to pay?

Can supply additional details if needed.

Best thing to do is search for a different joomla template that better suits they tend to cost around £30 once downloaded you can change colours and layout yourself and changing to the new template only requires a couple of clicks. I just got a template from a uk company and they offered free support even changed headers for me online.

Hmmm, that might be an option, a quick search is putting the bespoke option at a lot of wonga price between £800- £1,200 so far!
