    about £50

Depends on the weight of the gold inside, as that is probably the highest price you would get.

Take it to a reputable gold person.(and no I don't mean a person MADE of gold, no matter how hilarious that would be

    and disturbing)

    Yup yup

I would go to a few antique dealers first to get a feel for what they are worth. Are they stamped? Signed? The china could be worth more than the gold itself depending on who designed it!

Each piece has some writing on the back:

This looks like chokin style and you can buy it pretty cheap - highly unlikely you're going to make much money on this. The gold gilding isn't worth anything to a gold dealer.

looks nice, worth more as antiques than smelted down I reckon

Looks like princess house heritage blossom is a brand collected in the states but early 80's but lots still around. Only way your going to make decent money from it is to hang on to it. If not I doubt you would reach £50 in a auction.... but I could be wrong.
