How much is a Dell ST31000424SS SAS 7200rpm drive worth?

Got it when CeX were too incompetent to realise it wasn't SATA, but according to Amazon its worth 250 quid?

"According to amazon" no. According to one seller who sells on amazon.

They go for £80-140 on ebay and that's with sellers including free 3 mo warranty etc (assuming used/refurb)

How do I do that? my motherboard doesn't support SAS

I think you can buy a convertor to sata but not sure if software is the same.

looks like you can you sata drives on a sas controller but not the other way round

You'll have to find someone with a sas controller to test it or chance your luck.
