I paid around £800 roughly for it and was wondering how much its worth or you reckon i can swap it with a macbook?

If you had the Nvidia card I think it would be easier to swap with a Macbook which lacks it, can't see why anyone would want to swap otherwise. Depends where you sell it, I would have thought around the 350-400 pound mark as the XPS M1330 have come down in price and there's also Vostro 1310's which can be picked up relatively cheaply.

John

How old is it as £800 seems really expensive for that spec.

worth about £350-£450 maybe

it was bought in january it was roughly £743 i think. But defo more then £700.

I would be happy with £500?

Vostro 1310's

Cant compare a vostro with a xps dude.

This laptop is pretty light and portable.

youd be pushing it at £500, the dell outlet have ones with dedicated 8600GT's for around that price

Yes you can, especially as yours lacks the Nvidia card which gives the xps the advantage over the Vostro. The latter machine is very similar and better in some areas, while not as flashy it is better built and has four USB ports. You'd be lucky to get 500 pounds for it when you can get even a new XPS for around that price, I bought a better spec XPS M1330 direct from Dell in February for around 700 pounds.

Technically it's worth what someone will pay for it, however having bought a better spec Vostro 1310 from the Outlet for 380 quid I wouldn't pay much for a relatively low spec XPS M1330 especially as it's missing its main selling point.

You cant compare it it trust me vostros are bulky as hell compared to this but you can compare it specs wise. Hmmm probably worth keeping then you agree?
