    More Than I Have

I've looked around a bit and was thinking in the range of £500 del. Sound reasonable ???

    Case - £35 (£60 new)
    AMD64 3200 - £15 (The X2 3600 is only £25 new)
4Gb memory - £35 (can pick up decent 4gb for around £60 now)
    K9N Neo - £25 (only £40 new)
    X1900XT 512MB - £200 (£260 new)
    Acer AL1914 - £75 (The AL1916 is £108 new - much better specs)
Creative SB X-Fi Xtreme Fidelity - £50 (Around £80 new)
    Seagtate hard drives 160GB, 200GB, 400GB - £65 (Seagate 750GB new is £90)
    Pioneer 112D - £12 (£20 new)

So with that little lot totaled up I make it £500, as you seemed to have

However, no-one will give you £500 for it. As a machine already assembled, lets be honest here the processor and motherboard let it all down. Best bet is to split it all up, get maximum price for the components.

As a combined unit I reckon it would struggle to get £400.

ummm it's an AMD Athlon x2 6000+ running at stock 3ghz

I agree with Simon_G on this one Zeus. You will get a lot more money if you sold each piece of hardware separately. That way you can aim most of the stuff your selling at both types of people, Intel users and AMD users.

    X1900XT 512MB - £200 (£260 new)

All your evaluations seem about right, except for the graphics card - this would fetch only ~£50. Recently superior 512Mb X1900XTXs were sold on eBay for around £60-70 excl del (see items 220205637688 & 220205539093).

Edit: If zeus9876 has the WinXP disk, then s/he could get £30 or more(?) for it dependingon whether it was OEM or retail.
