How often/how many miles?

I like using my low fuel consumption bicycle!

Vauxhall Vectra 1.8 £70-£73 to fill, lasts me about 12-14 days

going by your average of £1.40 then the wife's corsa would cost £62 to fill. Might last 2 weeks.

Peugeot 308 1.6 diesel £70ish...... lasts about a month or more..

Impreza - usually put £30 in (petrol's £1.45 near me) and lasts me around 125 miles/ 3-4 days.

Mini Cooper S
£56.00

1.8 Astra Sport about £70ish

1.6 BM £68 340 miles

2.8l VR6 Sharan. Don't know how much to fill it up, scares me when £50 doesn't even go half way. The £50 lasts more than a month though, as it's not often used at the mo.

S reg 535 - 2 weeks ago it cost me just under £95

Don't know what it is to fill up. But only getting between 65-75 miles to a tenner these days.

2.0 Hdi 306 2001.

£40 to fill with Gas (converted) will do 280 miles Honda Shuttle 7 seater

clio 1.2 petrol...costs around £45 to fill from empty as i cross the border to ROI (bout 5miles) and get it for 1.35 euro per liter.

My i30 1.6CRDi Premium (diesel) takes just over £70

I think the Zafira 1.6 (petrol) is about the same, but its only been driven twice in the last few weeks, so no need to fill.

The i20 1.4 (petrol) is about £60

2004 BMW 3 series compact 1.8 petrol - £77 for a full tank will get me about 320 miles...i'll be lucky if that lasts me a week

bmw 118 M Sport £90 last me a good while though as dont drive to work.

Renault Clio 1.2 - £50
At 42mpg, lasts 7-10 days.

blimey, got a leak?

If our local garage went bust the average price nationally would probably drop, they are normally between 10-12p per litre higher than supermarket pumps on both diesel and petrol. The petrol is a sideline though as they are mainly car sales and a service centre.

In fact the only petrol sales I have seen are in jerry cans for garden equipment and the off road bikers.

Clio - 1.5 diesel. Last tank cost £61 - approx 450 miles with a lot of 'round town' journeys.
On the plus side, Road tax per year went down from £35 to £30 !!

Bugatti Veyron about £200

E36 Compact M Sport £60-£65 to fill lasts me 300 miles on a good week, use 3 fill-ups a month. Also have E46 saloon same to fill but lasts 350-420 miles depending on roads filled 3-4 times a month.

1.6 petrol focus - £65 to fill up and does roughly 375 miles. I equate that to roughly 17p per mile.

What type? Please clarify before posting again X)

Just sold my Golf 1.8T to buy a 1.0 Toyota Aygo, looking forward to saving £30 per week on fuel and only £20 road tax

My wife has just bought a Citreon C1 instead of her 1.8L Shogun Pinin so similar savings to be had in the family income there too. overall i believe we will save £3500 over the year (at current prices)

Nissan Qashqai 2.0 - £78 yesterday, about 370 per tank.

ford fiesta - £50 lasts about 400-500 miles so about 3-4 months
