hi all.

off to a concert at the o2 soon and i just wondered how strict they are when you are going in, as the web site says no food at all and no drinks not even small plastic bottles. I know there are quite a few food & drink places in there but are these reasonably priced, (cant usually bring myself to pay £5 for a botttle of water like someplaces charge ;lol.)

thanks for any help

thanks, thats not bad if i can atleast take in a small bottle of water, dont care if they put it in a cup i figured the priced for drinks would be really high as once you are in there you have no choice either pay up or go thirsty.

The beer and wine are about £4 to £5 inside, but you can take them into the arena. The food places round the outside of the O2 are very reasonable, but some of them don't have a full menu on concert nights and have their own smaller 'concert menu'. If you do want to eat there go early as it gets very busy towards concert time.
We saw Bon Jovi last week and the place was heaving.

its bon jovi we are off to see this weekend. Was it good ?
we are going by coach which i think only gets us there abt 45 mins before the concert arrives so i may have to take snacky stuff & leave it on the coach so i can eat before & after.

They were brilliant, thought first couple of songs were a bit weak, but after that they seemed to get into their stride, Richie Sambora was amazing. Hope you enjoy it - programmes are £20 which I thought was a bit steep. Check out the screens during the show, they have a life of their own and are incredible - once you've seen them you will know what I mean
