How to clean the cyclinder / cyclone of a DC07 Dyson vacuum cleaner

A while ago we bought a Dyson vacuum cleaner. We were very impressed with its cleaning ability and being able to just pull a lever to empty it is great. Over time though the suction seemed to drop off to the point where it was only as good as our old vacuum cleaner - probably because I used it for DIY. This had to change...

Copy the link below on how to save you paying Dyson to do it. It's very easy to do...!

in my experience, it clogs up all the time, losing suction every week

went back to a bagged cleaner
Dysons are massively overrated, I personally wouldn't bother with one since the last couple of Dyson's I had overheated constantly, Much better value hoovers out their, plus my house is mostly laminated.

Me too. I bought a Sebo vacuum, and its much better than the Dyson ever was, even 3 or 4 years on.

they overheat because they are clogging up, the air isnt getting in and cooling the machine
so you were losing suction, and then overheating and cutting out
Why don't you people read the question! Instead of knocking them offer some proper advise rather then 'i wouldn't buy that or piece of rubbish'.
The poster wasn't asking if they should buy one rather HOW T CLEAN IT!
If you haven't got anything positive to say then don't bother!

Actually the OP was offering advice on how to clean the vacuum cleaner, there was no question mark in the title, it was a statement
point taken, just fed-up with some on here who make it their lifes work to knock everything.

I know, there's such a lot of people who take time out of their day simply to knock. I don't know why they bother.
