How to connect Mac Mini to TV without a cable?

Got a Mac Mini that I'd like to connect to a wall mounted TV, but don't have any nearby space for the computer next to the TV, so I wondered if there's an easy (and cheap!) way of wirelessly getting the signal from the Mac at the other side of the room to the TV?

Googled 'wireless HDMI' and searched eBay but some of the results were a tad technical for me, and others seemed too good to be true, so I'm hoping someone here can give some advice!

Thanks

How about a really long hdmi cable? a few meters of cable would cost about £10 of eBay, if you line it around the edge of the room, you wouldn't notice it.

Thanks! I did think about trying to do something like that, but the whole thing is really minimal with no wires and not really any corners to run a wire to - I'll stick a pic on which will make it more obvious what I mean!

Google
How to stream mac to tv wirelessly
it mentioned things like Apple tv, pc to tv usb receivers etc. Could set you off into the right direction

I'm sure the OP has tried this already lol. Apple TV is one way, although I find it laggy and lacking in quality personally. Another way is WiDi or WHDMI as shown in the video here youtube.com/wat…Pks

You'd think there would be an easier way by now...

From their post it mentioned they google searched "wireless hdmi" which give different results. If you don't pinpoint your question as well, you don't get the correct answers right off the bat. Lol...
