Hello, I friends dad past away due to Covid last april. She cancelled the contract soon after however now wants to use the phone but its network locked (other network sims apart from EE do not work). She tried to login to her account (not her dads as it does not exist and she did not have it) and under the unlock option the phone is not detected when she enters in the IMEI - generic account error comes up.
Does anyone know how she can get past this? EE said without the account owner they cant help. Any ideas?
