I have an Orange Livebox which already has my laptop as wireless and my hubbys computer as wired.

We have a spare desktop that we were thinking of setting up for our oldest(she likes to play cbeebies etc).

How can I make it wireless without having to open it up and put a wireless card inside?

Any help would be great.

If you ever decide to finish your orange contract then you will have to … If you ever decide to finish your orange contract then you will have to hand the livebox back or you will get charged £100.

Had to give the modem back to virgin when I gave up that contract and will give the livebox back too but as I said no plans to get rid of Orange yet.

how long you been with them? and what you paying?

Original Poster

ummm I cant actually remember how long its been, think its just been a year, I changed when Pc World were offering the deal of signing up for 2 years and getting the laptop.

I was paying £19.99 but they phoned me to offer me a better contract of the phone line included but I couldnt take it as I was still under contract with BT so they reduced what I was paying to £17.99 instead.

oh so you still within contract with them, was going to say phone them up and ask, when they want to charge you then you could have said if you have to buy the thing you will leave and go with someone cheaper

My sister has the livebox, and bought her dongles from argos, think they where about £20 each

yeah pretty sure I'm still under contract, I dont overly mind having to pay for it to be honest, obviously if I wasnt under contract I woulda tried that lol.
