Hiya

I am just a newbie on the group so be nice please!

Is there a way to sort the deals on the group by the temperature?

You can in a few, just click on the tab that says hot!
thanks but will it put the hottest temperature at the top ?:)
Suck it and see!!

No,all over 40 degrees( I think) and then in date order!
There is no way to do what you are asking Scotgirl55.
okay thanks to all, just wondering
It would be a bit of a pointless view, at the top would be really old deals that were amazing but aren't available anymore. Technically I guess they should be expired but not all are so you're going to be sorting through alot of old deals.
When you click on the "Hot" tab look on the right hand side for hottest deals of the week.

Best way to catch deals is look at the "New" tab and catch them as they happen, because the best deals expire quite quickly.
There was no way I could find this topic through this website. I had to google it.

Anyway, after 5 years, this feature is still not available on HotUKDeals site.

I want to sort the "cyber monday" or "black friday" pages in order of "hotness". There is no way to do this from these pages.

By extension, there is no easy way to sort any page on HotUKDeals by order of "hotness".

The best one can do is use the "advanced settings" (which is another problem, that only appears once you search for something first). However, using advanced search or custom settings defeats the purpose of wanting to quickly and easily see which deals are hot.

Why can't HotUKDeals simply add a button/link on the page that can be used to sort threads by "temperature", "ranking", "number of replies" etc.

Maybe this feature was left out deliberately so that the hot deals don't get spammed with more hotness leaving the cooler deals to go colder and colder. But I think the benefits of this feature outweigh the negative side-effects.

I can see that having this option would put some very old deals at top, but this could be limited to only show previous day, week or last 30 days at most. I know there is a "hottest" table on the right side of the page, but that only shows 10 entries which is not enough.

In any case, this feature should definitely be available for special occasion pages like black friday or cyber monday deals.

You can sort the daily hottest deals on the right hand side of the main page...where it says day, week,month.....choose day, then expand to show more, then choose a category at the top area topics to kids, fashion, gaming etc then the bit on the right will give you the best for the day in each topic

Already acknowledged that in my previous post:

I was merely highlighting to the op that this can be changed to topic to show the hottest in each topic also
