How to unblock a vacuum hose which is completely jammed with dust and fluff?

As per the title, I've tried a long pointy stick which just pierced holes in the hose, mop handle and smashing it against the wall of the house (brute force and ignorance), none of which worked. Please help!

Blast it through with an outside tap. Don't wear your best suit or shoes, though.

If you have pierced holes in the hose then bin it and buy a new one as its now no good.

Light a match and chuck it in

Just kidding lol

I did, even with a garden cane - went straight through. Just had to order a new vacuum as I couldn't find that kind of hose to order. Infuriating!

Tempting, but too late.

For the future: try using an air compressor. It's the only thing that worked for me.

Ive used bath tap in the past always works for me
