I went to wireless festival in Birmingham yesterday, me and my brother went on a ride at the end of the night and i cant express the pain we were in on this ride, i have bruises all down my leg and my neck is in agony. Does anybody know how or where to make a complaint as i believe it to be VERY unsafe! Thanks in advance

You could find the organisers out then email them also?

Could also speak to the local council as they'd have issued the licence for them to trade there.

Did the OP bump n grind against the side of the fairground ride?

Hope the OP wasn't trying to win a "holiday"

All rides like that are 'unsafe' in a way, you know what you're expecting when you go on them. Rattles, bangs, broken bits of metal in places! Idk why youre in so much shock as they're crap and complain to the council if you want, but I doubt they'd do a thing! Good luck OP in your pointless complaint!

the local gypsy authority should be able to deal with this efficiently, coming to a town near you....

Nobody should have bruises down their legs after being on a fairground ride, I certainly haven't and have been on many. It's not a pointless complaint at all, they are not saying that they want compensation, they are saying that they want it to be made known that the ride causes injuries and I agree with them.

@ the OP, all rides are meant to be inspected once a year by an independent engineer, and the result of the most recent inspection should be displayed on the ride for all to see. However, who says who is independent, how independent they are, and how easy it would be to fake one of the notices. Also, perhaps the inspection is only carried out on the working parts of the machinery and not actually how the ride affects the riders. I think you should phone the Citizens' Advice Bureau in the first place who should be able to find out where you can take your complaint to. Good luck and well done if this stops others from being injured.
