I have a couple of Hp instant ink cartridges that are full or haven't even been used but I can't use them because my subscription is canceled since I stopped paying it. So, is there anyway to bypass whatever censor is on the cartridges so I can still use them? I even tried using them in my husband's printer since his has never been set up for instant ink but it wouldn't work. There has to be a way to bypass this and be able to use these cartridges without signing back up for instant ink subscription.
Anyone have any ideas or suggestions???

Probably too late now but surely if you disconnect it from the internet it …Probably too late now but surely if you disconnect it from the internet it wouldn't know you have cancelled?

The printer will block printing after a set number of pages until it's reconnected.

No. That's sort of the point.

If you want to use them, pay for the subscription.

Censor on the cartridge? They should be allowed to say what they want

But they are spewing out all kinds of colourful stuff. (edited)

Why did you stop the paying? I know they put price up but still sensible money

    Anyway.

No. I've never seen a hack but read a few posts about ink stopping with subscription

There is a way but it will and can be messy.

You need a syringe, a fine needle, gloves (optional but highly recommend) and an old like for like cartridge

If you have tri colour then 3x needle 3x syringe, Black - 1 of each only

Just Google HP ink refill and you'll get the gist of it

Also invest in a refill kit. I've saved hundreds of £ already by refilling my own cartridges. Can be very annoying and tricky at times but for me and the savings I make - it's worth it (edited)

Wow. I knew printer folks were into legalised crookery but this is really taking the michael.

Just buy a decent printer from Brother and use First Call Inks and forget the hastle

I had this issue a few years ago, I just brought a pack of compatible inks used them, then swapped the chips
