Huawei watch fit not ringing on WhatsApp

Gone through all the settings I can think of but still not working. If someone phones me on WhatsApp it doesn't notify the watch but as soon as they hang up it notified the watch. Using it through a Xiaomi 9t pro but the Mrs has the same problem through a Huawei honor 8x.
Anybody any ideas? Thanks in advance.
