    hypnosis and weight loss

    anyone know any one who has done this. does it work?

    i am good at getting to gym and eat ok....but i snack for no reason but boredom!

    Stare at the image and set a recorded CD Message to repeat "You Will Not Snack" for about 45 mins everyday for 1 month.

    That geezas hair is way too fluffy to be a hypnotist imo

    friend has had hypnosis to stop smoking - it seems to have worked
    i am very cynical though as she really did want to stop - psychological effect / help
    it was a few hundred pounds - money better spent elsewhere i think

    Just a suggestion, try investing in a Juice Extractor and combine that with your exercise routines, you will have fun, lose weight and gain healthy delicious fruit/veg energy drinks at the same time.
    Tesco sell their own brand whole fruit extractor at about £40 and that will go to half price in the coming weeks, but if you want to splash out a bit you can get an award winning Philips Aluminium Juicer (my favourite) for about £70 which comes with a recipe book, jug and a cleaning brush.

    Now on proper diet.

    Its 3 days dieting and 4 days eating normally (means you can have normal stuff but I recomend you use portion control) but easy diet to do.

    I lost 1 stone in 5 weeks!

    Ps involves eating 3 scoops of vanilla ice cream each diet night - (you live for it LOL :-D)

    I'm exactly the same apart from the gym and eating good bit. I stopped smoking 3 or 4 months ago now and just can't stop eating. I've got some little puzzles to fiddle with to take my mind off things along with some boiled sweets. It's just a case of changing habits. I read that it takes on average 3 weeks of stopping a habit to get it out of your system.
    The Nicorette Inhalators are a brilliant way to stop smoking by the way but like everything, you have to actually want to stop 100%

    my wife and her sister have both been to a hypnotherapist for weight loss, i was cynical but have to agree it worked for them both. she had been on diets for years, she got the best results from hypnotherapy so i am now open minded. i think she paid 2 lots of £35 to see her and i would say if you can afford it give it a go and see how you get on. try to get a recommendation from some one local to you, to get the best one in your area.

    I did it about 6 years ago, not to loose weight but to stop eating chocolate because I was concerened I was becoming A chocoholic :giggle: Didn't do a thing for me, but I never actually 'went under' so perhaps if I had it might have worked:? Was a waste of money imo

    I have sent you a pm with the diet. If you stick to it, it stops you snacking because 'snacking' isn't on the diet sheet - that's my downfall, but it definately helps you with portion control as you weigh out your food and really see how much you should eat plus it is supposed to be chemically based so that the food helps you burn calories off. It does work as the results are weight loss (says you can lose up to 7lbs per week but my average is 3lbs) but not bad for only dieting 3 days per week.
