Whoa MST....you fallin apart hun?:giggle:

How is the toothache??

The basic tests will be the same, although OH.....(who's prescription makes her officially a partially sighted person!!!) find boots great. Depends what you are after. Look into the basic cost (lenses/specs etc) then aftercare - which is probably more important.

if you ring up and check you will see specsavers are cheaper for eyetests than boots, also its two for the price of one on frames. ive been buying there for years and never had any complaints

specsavers.co.uk/cgi…tml

if you work at a pc for more than an hour a day continuosly (sp) your place of work have to pay for the eyetest. if you have never had glasses before they have to pay 100% of the cost (not sure if frames are included or not). if you have had glasses before its 50% - you may need to check the full rules and regulations on this im sure google could help. also if this is the case you should check with your employer before you book the test, incase they have somewhere preferable they have in mind, if they are footing the bill

one last thing, some time ago someone on here posted a deal for amazingly cheap glasses online which were at a fraction of the cost and you just needed your prescription (if your trying to watch pennies maybe worth a search)

Remember, you do not have to buy your specs where you have your eye test, just ask for the prescription and then shop around.;-)

Got my eyes tested at boots, they were quite good.

But couldent stop myself from laughing when she got right in my face and was looking in my eyes, turning her head whilst she was doing it.

:giggle: :whistling:
