dunno, but i do too lol, or if someone just touches my nose i sneeze.

Almost every type of treatment doesnt work for me, i rely on coldpacks and wet cloths on the face. Piriton i take when it gets bad and i dont have time to sit with a pack on my face.

oh no. no no no. when you sneeze for hours non stop, like i can, especially around a new cat, each sneeze is painful. I can always tell if a visitor has a cat, i sneeze even more lol

Here's a personal experience of mine that might help.
I had perennial rhinitis which caused nasal polpys. It was horrible and I had to have the polyps removed during an operation. The problem is they come back and have to be removed again after 2/3 years. I found that the way to stop the rhinitis was nasal douching - rinsing with salt water to wash out any irritants, once in the morning and once before going to bed - This stopped me from sneezing full stop but you do know when you've forgotten to do it.

There's two ways of going about it-

I suggest that you initially try sterimar allergyuk.org/new…spx but this is expensive about £6.00 for a week.

There is also neilmed saline rinse salveo.co.uk/hea…asp for £16.00 for 100 applications - 50 days.

Both of these can be obtained from Boots/Lloyds and most pharmacies.

Use these treatment to clear the gunk out and then get your GP to prescribe a steriod spray. Use the spray 30 mins after douching and you should see an improvement. In addition take daily anti-histamines too but do try different ones to see which is best for you - for me Loratadine doesn't work but Cetirizine dihydrochloride does - both of these are available as tesco and asda own brand at about 10p per tablet.

Doing this also seems to prevent and shorten the duration that I have a cold for, in addition I've stopped snoring too.

yup yup I'm the same, I have allergies to dust mites apparently. My doc gave me some nasal spray and it was pretty handy short term. It is a right pain though!

Your supposed to buy some honey made locally - not from like tesco, from like a market, and eat a spoonful a day. Never tried it but its supposed to cure heyfever. If it halps ive been sneezing all day too!
