Rolex (",)

but you need to add to more 00's to the end of your budget... £30000 - £40000

Citizen Men's Watches are a decent brand although i wouldn't spend that much on one myself but they are known to last a lifetime!

i got my watch from Dubai, it's not a big brand, but it's 18carat white gold plated with crystal studs on each 4 points, and that was less then £150! scratch proof face as well!

I guess it depends where you live. The chances of someone mugging you is actually pretty slim

Of course you can, but if some folk don't agree, and say so, that's also OK.;-)

I was given a £600 Longines watch for my 18th and it's been nothing but trouble, even though it looks nice, it's pointless when it loses a minute every hour always making me late. Stay away from Longines.
And to ryancs, Tissot watches are very good and a well respected watch brand. My mother has one, but the downside is when she needs it serviced it has to go to a branch of Watches of Switzerland which costs an arm and a leg, into triple figues last time it had a minor problem and needed a new battery. I have one somewhere I've had for 8 years and the original battery is still going and they will retain their value pretty well. Great watches.

I love watches!

I have a large faced Armani, Seiko Kinetic, Seiko Chrono, Deisel large face, Accurist Chrono, Fossil and Reactor. Also got myself a cheap Next Digi watch from the sale just for the gym, but haven't wore it there cause it looks too nice lol!

Anyone know of a good metal chronograph style dive watch for under £200.

I'm thinking of buying my brother a watch for christmas, he works on a cruise ship so I thought a dive watch would be cool.
