Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them would've been my choice. Better story, more rounded characters and far better cinematography.

Great stuff, "common good" post war (because the war we needed others' muscles and minds) gave way to the "private greed" of today (in peace time, no need for others to die and to protect your wealth). His knowledge of the practical truth has utterly destroyed the other panelists, he made them speechless.

we should all buy this to support this kind of film making

For every Daniel Blake there is an opposite, a White Dee on benefits street.

After his anual campaign for the boycot of the London Israeli Film and Television Festival, a festival of films made by Israelis of all walks of life/ethnic background/sexual orientation/religion/political ideology etc including Palestinians. plus his calling on cinemas not to host said festival and his comments about "understanding anti-Semitism" that is rife in Europe I wouldnt put a penny in Loaches grubby pockets.

Hayley Squires was great in it but you could tell Dave Johns wasn't an actor as he was awful (much like Bruce Jones in Raining Stones). Average straight to channel 4 film imho

The foodbank beans scene ruined the credibility of the film.

I'm sure he'd feel the same way about you if he came on here and read your posts.

And the next time we see her she's a lady of the night with £300 in her pocket.

pfft. Sorry, but real life isn't as "real" as that.

22.30 hours tonight on bbc radio 2.

Cardinal Burns Presents Dean And Murf is a multi-character comedy from writer-performers Cardinal Burns and is directed by Julian Barratt (The Mighty Boosh).

It stars Seb Cardinal (Cardinal Burns) and Dustin Demri-Burns (Cardinal Burns) playing a roll call of different characters and also featuring David Earl (Derek), Chris Hayward (Cardinal Burns) and Julian Barratt (Flowers).

Ex-ravers Dean and Murf live on a dilapidated houseboat on the Regents Canal. Four years in arrears on their mooring fees, Dean and Murf are forced to visit the job centre which leads them on a surreal adventure working as factory workers on a Ken Loach film.

Seen that film recently, there were plenty of glaring continuity errors which distracted from the main plot.
