    My petition:

STOP THE BBC WASTING LICENSE PAYERS MONEY. 2K A WEEK. OVER £110,000 A YEAR.

Bargain Hunt, which airs every weekday on the BBC, gives £200 of license payers money to 2 team to buy what can only be described as rubbish to sell at auction. These teams ALWAYS make a loss and seem to think it is a joke wasting our money. That's a annual loss of over 110k. This must be stopped.

Erm. Where have all the comments gone?

But surely it's worth £110,000 a year just to see Tim Wonnacott's ridiculous dress sense ?

It is also not "license payers money" or "2 team".

£2k a week and it's on every day? What are thy paying the whole crew, £400 a day? Doesn't seem at all likely.

Just scrap the entire BBC. Job done.

BBC spends £50m plus on the Asian network radio station....pointless

In 2010. Didn't they scrap that ages ago?

Shows how much attention I pay them.

Never mind the money we waste on Nuclear Weapons and God know's what else let's complain about a TV programme that seems to cost very little.
If enough people watch it which they do I presume or they'd drop it, then it sounds good value.

Although the BBC does get back some monies from selling / showing the show overseas they do not force overseas viewers to pay the TV licence tax they get to watch/listen for free

And just to rub hydrochloric acid into the already salted wound (as per tempt's comment #7 - yes it's 2010 article but still worthy of analysis) 535,000 approx listeners @ £22.60 approx per head for The Asian Network<< that's some serious mismanagement but when you look at other things the BBC has been hiding nobody gives it a second thought

I only pointed out that it's minimal compared to the game shows that give away thousands everyday and the BBC isn't tailored to one style of individual.

    Genuinely baffled why it went.

I see far more ridiculous dress sense walking our streets all the blokes whom forget what a belt is for and think their real cool with their jeans hanging down past their butts showing the world their undesirable underpants.

What exactly does HUKD have against Cash In The Attic!?

Scrap the BBC entirely, it's full of stuff which I personally do not want to watch. Get rid of it, lets just have adverts in the middle of programmes. I also hate that it's the BRITISH Broadcasting Corporation but it does all sorts of foreign stuff for foreign people? Disgusting.I mean I'm not racist but...

Weirdly, believe it or not many people enjoy the show i why should YOU dictate what license payers fees are spent on? Get over yourself, millions of people don't like the news so maybe they should bin that off to?

The bbc spent £230000 on tea in 2012 ,£430000 severance pay to George Entwhistle after 54 days in charge ,there were 4420 different job titles , 12 with " controller" in the title and 100 of them earn more than the PM. Real value for money eh ?

Nice story but all the accused have had to do is appear on another channel (probably a game show), write a paid article in a paper or online, make a paid public appearance or any other paid work & then the whole story is defunct.

The above will certainly cover 90% of the 100.

That's correct, I don't pay for Sky but I'm forced to pay for the BBC, their salaries and now the tax scams. Amazing they must have been reporting on Amazon and all the while thinking "ha you don't dodge tax that way, suckers". Not the first time these people have been caught, wasn't that long ago Chris Moyles was a car sales man in his spare time.
