i have 32 bit windows vista home premium but would like the 64 bit version

how do i go about getting the 64 bit versin without purchasing vista again?

If you bought your Vista as a retail boxed version, ]yes.

If it came with your computer, may be. Call your computer's manufacturer and ask them if they offer 64bit installation media.

I would seriously hold out for Windows 7 64-bit out probably in August..Or you can always download the free Release Candidate(RC) from Windows website of Windows 7..…spx

The RC will expire on June 1, 2010. Starting on March 1, 2010, your PC will begin shutting down every two hours. Windows will notify you two weeks before the bi-hourly shutdowns start. To avoid interruption, you’ll need to install a non-expired version of Windows before March 1, 2010. You’ll also need to install the programs and data that you want to use
