It's simple really. Order one at the current, lower price. When you go to collect the more expensive one, simply return it there and then.

Or order again at lower price and return/cancel the last order....

i am going to call them tomorrow and if they wont give me the lower price i will cancel and put a new order in

Just explain to them and they will give you back the £40. I reserved and paid for an item in Argos and by the time I'd collected it, it had dropped in price. They just gave me the extra money back.

thats what i will be doing. going to go up tomorrow

I can't see why they wouldn't, you haven't even collected yet so you could as people mentioned cancel that order and order again, no sweat off your back.

I don't think so unless you get a full refund yourself and say you don't want it and then buy again with the new price.

I got a bike with Halfords, anyway collected, noticed two weeks later down in price and if I could get difference back and they did.

    Halfords are very accommodating.

If the price had gone up would you be offering to pay the difference??

You agreed a price so should stick to it

But halfords will probably assist you
Consumers always make me laugh on issues like that

So when the broadband and mobile providers increase prices midway through contract, which was an agreed price initially, what then? The consumer did not have a say and it has only changed recently.
Consumers have upper hand before the goods are used by them but past the initial use or cooling off period not much...........

But of difference between a monthly charge and a one off payment purchase.
