Nope probably not - Insurers generally won't payout because you were an idiot.

Did you report it and get an incident number? That's the first thing. As for them paying up - I think it's unlikely sorry.

doubt it soz x

you won't do that again

Which insurance? You may be able to claim for it on your home insurance if you have if covered on items which you use outside of the home but you'd have to check your policy details.

I doubt your car insurance would cover it.

Even if they did you would have to pay the excess on your policy, the first £xxxx of any claim so it might not even be worth the hassle of making a claim and of course you would lose your no claims bonus or at least some of it

cheaper option - buy a cheap £30 or £40 satnav and put this down to experience.

excess likely to be WAY more than £40!!

is this for real, leaving your satnav in the car is bad enough but leaving the car unlocked as well.............oh my days

just say they broke in

just say they broke in

I doubt there would be any sign of forced entry etc if the door was unlocked

Maybe you should just be grateful that they didnt steal the car.

smash a window if you're that bothered about claiming

chance

you have none.

You need to edit your story.

Tell the insurance people you were held hostage by 3 ladies in their 60's armed with blue coloured bingo dobbers.
