I don't really know what I'm supposed to be looking for, but I need a PC that can run something like The Orange Box at max settings, and Burnout Paradise at max settings. My price range is £400 - £600, and I don't need a monitor.

Thanks in advance for the help!

I'd prefer not to, I'm 16 and I've never done anything like that before!

Got to agree building your own is cheaper and a lot more rewarding, I built my first one a few months ago, easier than I expected

How much would I end up saving? Around £50? How long would it take me to build one? Hours? Thanks!

Jonny, is the graphics card on that any good? I heard that the 5770 or something like that is really good?

Thanks.

Yeah I get you dcx I think further down the road when I'm a bit more clued up with PCs I'll dive into the building work. Right now, between exams and that, I don't think I have the time to devote to it...

What's a good graphics card?

OP I just bought a i7 Extreme & it's a great price as you can't build it for less than £1,000 +.
Look at this power sellers Feedback & you will see what I mean. The off-side is his delivery time take 31-32 working days (Yes that's right lol) But at this price I have no complaints.

That's fairly expensive! Nice model though!

So really, I need to be looking for a PC with around 3GB Ram, a 3GHz processor and a decent graphics card?

@gruff that list is an example, if you shop around you'll probs save … @gruff that list is an example, if you shop around you'll probs save another fer £££ on it.Lol you know you have probably just been scammed, that CPU (980x) is £750 on it's own, I think they'll delay it till past the paypal claim date, you can't build it for that unless it's stolen.

Funny you should say that as I was thinking the same thing.I've also told the seller that I will not be waiting over 45 days as Paypal will not protect me,But you must admit his Feedback & prices make him look Clean.

Don't think he has been scammed, most of the items they have sold have long delivery dates on them but the feedback is still good and they provide an address (Hopefully its geniune)

But I do agree its strange they can do that system that cheaply

See maybe the seller has good contacts but needs to buy large bulk & so he waits for lots of sales & then he places his order as we all know you can make a PC build in under 2 hours. His feedback is great & so are the prices Geez under £200 for Quad CPU's.He for what it's worth is also a Registered as a Business Seller.

I just used google map to find this ebay sellers address & it shows me a Florist shop :-/
Just hope the shop was took over by seller lol.

kinda off topic, but they made burnout paradice free a while back

im only 18 and i built mine mine, easy enough, i really did save hundreds for my system specs, runs burnout paradise max settings 1080p and crysis on Gamer settings 27 FPS and thats with my cheap HD 5770 which cost 97 quid new.
If not then look at places like scan.co.ukebuyer.com etc
