Hi I am in need of a new base unit as my computer packed up yesterday,I have seen this one in tesco £499.97 ,now i dont know a great deal about computers but this seems OK to me,I dont need a moniter or anything else just a good base unit.i realy would appreciate any advice or if any of you know of a better buy.

this one from woolworth would be my second choice.

this comes with a 19" moniter and is an extra £100 but I cant find any details for the unit.

Not too hot.
Same spec should be available between three and four hundred.. worth looking at dell outlet.

if only u knew how to build pcs!!!

£500 budget and no need for a monitor

u can build a very decent/powerful machine

i agree with above post

those specs for £500 dont seem very good

Thanks i will take a look but I am not to sure about Dell ..

from my experience for value for money goes
u cannot beat dell hands down

they are a massive company worldwide so they can mass produce bringing down costs and then passin them onto the customers

some of the deals are very very tempting especially with thursdays offers such as double ram free delivery etc but i dont need another pc

thanks the main thing that puts me off is I have been told if you need help you have to go through indian call centers, but saying that I have just been looking and cant seem to find one I like ,i am very tempted by the woolies PC

as I think this looks a good deal especialy as it comes with a 3 year warranty and Eversham do have a good name.

better value here..comes with a 17inch TFT monitor but if you have a better one then you can sell...should get at least £80.

3% quidco cashback

Latest AMD X2 Dual Core 64 bit Processor" Definitely don't like that vague a description.. can pretty much guaruntee it wont be the latest now.
half a gig of RAM is pathetic for a desktop too.

i just had a quick look at dell and if u were intending on spending £600

then u can get a much better specced pc for your money

just my advice

and thursdays they update offers so if u was willing to wait u might grab a nice package
