Do you have a fun factory or similar nearby? Where they have big ball pits etc to play in and also provide food etc

Local leisure center they do all the work,

as Uncle Sy said......always best to have an organised one, I had one party at home with mine.......never again!
Ask other local parents if they can recommend somewhere.

depends on your budget-the parties at build a bear are fantastic.

If doing it at home you need a clear structure for kids that age to keep them interested, pass the parcel, musical bumps etc-possibly hire a puppet show or similar.

That's a lot of small kids to keep your eye on, i would hire a room with entertainer and invite all the other parents.

budget; as long as it is not tooo expensive, a few hundred maybe?

for my daughters 3rd as I didn't have much money I got a couple of cheap paddling pools and a load of those plastic balls, set them up in the front room - one of them I put a princess tent over. Then I did a few usual party games and that was that - they had a fab time!

depends on how much you want to spend out

if you have community hall or the like nearby - always cheap to hire for a few hours

section off part for sitting down to eat - get toys out - place for ball park etc - borrow some off friends

    or hire entertainer

    little disco corner

i'm sure friends would help - loved doing mine when dds were little -

oh and get few bubble machines - mind find the reduced ones in tesco £1or 2

shop around for goodie bag stuff

    central

Why not make it a costume party? Most kids will have costumes for halloween, and if they dont their parents will be able to pick one up cheap after halloween. (Even if they dont get dressed up for halloween, most kids that age will have some dressing up clothes)

Would be something a little different and give them a chance to wear their costumes again and show all their friends

I know most kids that age LOVE dressing up, so any excuse for them to do so is great! Trying to persuade a 3yr old at the moment that an upsy daisy costume is perhaps not the most suitable choice for my parents vow renewal at the weekend! Lol, we dont mind if she wears it but her mum said not a chance!

Hire somewhere and do lots of arts and crafts, a few games and get someone in to do face painting!

Hire a hall and a magician or a clown or any other form of entertainer xx

get Frankie Boyle's local magician in

apparently he had 2 tricks - first was making a sausage disappear inside your body, the second - he made his little cousin disappear - still hasn't come back!
