I need some help with quidco and o2 please, anyone PLEASE!

I bought an o2 sim card through quidco when it was the special £200 cashback deal and nothing has shown up on my account to say i did the transaction properly. I dont really know and use quidco much but i cant afford for the £200 not to be paid, its been about 12 days now since i did it so can still cancel the contract. But is it normal for sometimes nothing to show on quidco, because when ive used it in the past its always said ive made the purchase and its waiting to track or validate. Ive emailed quidco and all they said is i have to wait 15 weeks or something. Any advice please i'm in need!!!

You have to wait 30 days from date of purchase to raise a ticket, then it will be 60 days after that when a decision is made. Previously O2 have been pretty good at paying out the Quidco referral fee, although the last time I did have to submit a ticket.
Log into Quidco account and click on "Transactions"
    Then select "compose earnings enquiry"
Under new earnings enquiry highlight the merchant (O2) and click select
There should be a list of relevant transaction with this merchant.
Highlight the transaction and follow the instructions.
    I hope this helps.

You should never 100% rely on Quidco payments...

if you want to make sure QUIDCO at least recorded you going to O2 site, log into quidco, go through the process of reporting a missing transaction, where in the drop down menu you will find O2

Do this by doing the following >

Select - Transaction (from top menu bar)

    Select > Compose Earnings Enquiry

    Select > Merchant > ie O2 -- (Click Next)

You will then be presented with the time stamp when you last went via QUIDCO to that supplier..

If its there... you at least went via the site...

Then you will after wait the tracking period time before rasing a missing tracking to QUIDCIO

I'd expect O2 to at least track by now.

No offence OP, but you should never buy something expressly relying on quidco to pay out - things can and do go wrong.

thanks for this and everyone else, i know you shouldn't rely on quidco but at £200 on a £25 contract most people will take it just cause of the cash back. Im probably just going to cancel it though just to be on the safe side, i still have 2days left though so fingers crossed.

Is the phone still completed un-used? Ie still in the box sealed??

if so.. you should not havea problem returning it.. If its been opened, turned on and used that when you may have issues.... (like a friend of mine did!)

yep never rely on Quidco payments, best way to think of it is as A payment you might get somewhere down the line
