I have a henry vacuum which is excellent ( the most sturdy/effective I've had despite its horrible looks!) and approx £90 or there is the bissell deal on amazon that I posted in hot deals for £99.99.

£93.00 - 1 In Stock - Use the £15 off code in the voucher section to get this for £78 :-D

Edit: Think there might be a free delivery code - if not then its £3.95

last week macro had some dyson dc07 and dc08's on sale for £100+VAT. bargain.

I loved my dyson at first and used to swear by them but then it became really useless and started to fall apart..

I didn't like the look of the henry at all but you only have to look at how many cleaning companies use them to see that they must be good and I wouldn't swap it for anything now. They even had one in the warehouse where I worked and that took a right hammering but lasted for ages.

Hi Marko

If it's for charity you could do worse than this:

poundstretcher.co.uk/pdf…pdf

It's a cylinder-style 1400W dirt-devil vac for £21.50!

Me old mum bought one this week, since their house has mostly wooden floors and she only needed a small and light unit for doing the stairs, bless her!

OMG - I've just admitted my mum shops in poundstretchers...the horror!

Oh forgot to mention...

It's NOT bagless, but is permanent bag, which means you can empty it and wash it in the machine. It also comes with a spare washable bag.

I don't fancy the idea of washing hoover bags in my own washing machine, but it was someone else's....
