how can I hook/secure some icicle lights along the front of my bay window

seen it done but don't know what to use

I just tested one of these on plastic on my window outside

And it stuck well and secure but as soon as I sprinkled a little water on it it flopped off so if it rained my lights would drop off

You can get waterproof command strips for use in the bathroom, might be worth a try. I've used one to install a doorbell on the pvc door frame which has survived a few weeks in the rain so far.

To be honest all the outdoor command hooks/clips seem to get bad reviews with people saying they aren't ideal when it rains

How about using a hot glue gun to stick the plastic command hooks onto the brick or pvc bit of windows
