    whit?

    a 9 year old with an iPod ..... :?

dvd boxsets? there are some good deals on at the moment.
Or, how about an mp3 player pre-loaded with some audiobooks to get her into some literature?
Failing all that, there's always a trip to the Disney Store on her birthday - tell her she's got a certain budget and watch her eyes light up as she starts doing some maths to work out exactly how much she can get!
    All very educational

clothes?? age 9 image conscious arent they?

Best gift you can give to a child is your time.
A really good day trip or something with small purchases to serve as a reminder?

well said..is HSM on stage still about?

Theme park, that's what we do every year, take their frends. My kids remember every one which is great, there is usually a milestone at each one. First upside down ride etc.

Im getting a kitten in a few weeks when it is ready to leave mother......should of waited and surprised her....Good idea though.

High school musical tickets is a brilliant idea Her birthday is on a weekday after school, she wants to go down to local indoor play centre so will probably visit there after school anyway.

She has a digi makeover and she used it twice and still in her draw.......Wasnt worth £60 £15 more like it

Does a singstar need to be plugged into playststion? or am i thinking of something different?

There is a microphone - hannah or hsm which plays there songs and sing along too tat looks good.

yes goes in ps2 has she got one?

No ps2 only a gamecube and ds lite

My daughter loved the eyetoy for the ps2 at that age..it was a favourite for years always left plugged in! im sure there is a new version or that would be cheap to buy now? Daughter is almost 15 and still uses it!
