If I use DHL to send a parcel to France, will it be tracked all the way?

Want to book DHL through Parcel2go to send an eBay item, will it track all the way there and will it show as delivered on their website?

    Thanks x

I heard the other day that you will get a reference number and then they will have an alternative number to keep track of your parcel overseas. With a company like DHL you can trust them. They are too big of a company. I currently have just started parcel deliveries for HDNL. They seem to be great for parcels and think they do overseas

Thanks, it's not DHL I am wary of - I want to protect myself as much as possible from the buyer being able to say they didn't get the parcel or something, Paypal will ask me for proof delivery
I am sure I will be okay though as they have plenty of feedback, but just in case ...

Just use International Signed For by royal mail, if there a problem paypal/ebay will cover you as long as you have the tracking number.

I wonder how long that attidude will last lol, most courier companies are quite bad if not awful, I got a used monitor last year for £50 that DHL gave to "a woman with blonde hair" in my block of flats, thing is there is no woman with blonde hair in my block!

Also had a £150 graphics card wrecked, 2x £30 sticks of ram wrecked a pc in a case dented as if someone had kicked it, sent a box of dvds to new house and the rare ones went "missing" I can go on and on lol.

HDNL are part of DHL arent they? I had a bad story with them when the local one who was this grumpy looking woman, her grumpy looking husband and her son who looked barely 16 and did all the lifting(though was friendly) handed a £500 pc to a stranger at my front door as they said "are you mr X" and the person of course saw the big PC World label and said yes.

On Royal Mails website it says that it will only be trackable within the UK and they cannot provide proof of postage - will also cost £43, as opposed to the £20odd DHL are charging.
