Sure is, they sometimes do it in Aldi/Lidl for £0.99 a bottle, best I can do at the moment is £1.49 at Oddbins.

Got an Erdinger then a Weihenstephan Kristal lined up after this, and then... perhaps a Paulaner Oktoberfest although I'm not sure yet  Got a Fruli Strawberry beer sitting there too, but it's never a good idea to start mixing fruit and wheatbeers i find:whistling:

sorry just read yr question lol thought you were asking how do i drink my single malts ...
*blames the migraine

When i win the lottery or similar [I] am going to enrol in the College of Weihenstephan. It is the only school of beer in the world. Where else can you drink the student's efforts. Please, please, please try the "hefe wiesbier"(appologies for my spelling) THE BEST BEER MONEY CAN BUY

catortroy - will try that sometime, any idea where to get it -- i can think of a couple pubs (one in particular, an irish pub in covent garden near school that claims to serve 100 beers, but i cant quite remember the name!)

grex - it's yorkys, roast, horseradish, brocolli, baby potatoes.

think the white stuff you mean, are they at bottom corner left side? they're the baby potatoes.

which is the pilsen.ho hum :whistling:

hey and good luck re: college

fairly similar. good german wheatbeer breweries all have their own processes and traditions. much like wine, no two wheatbeers are the same. worth looking into if you're that way inclined. you'll only ever go back to stella when you're skint!

haha ho hum indeed. i cant drink lotsa beer at one go, hence the inexperience. u guys like your wheata-beer? hehe

i remember being in belgium (avoiding stella!) and the beers were lovely (if not strong lol).

I've developed a taste, that's for sure. Belgian beers tend to deviate towards the fruity/spicy in general, very good also. All depends what you like I suppose

Weihenstephan is in Munich in Germany and is the only place in the world that offers a degree, yes DEGREE in beer brewing

Grolsh, god bless thier souls have just released (available in euroippe for 10 years their own wheat beer which is just sublime grolsch.co.uk/gro…tml. alternatives are Schneider Weisse,Erdinger who do a fantastic brew and Franziskanerwhich is sold a Lidl for less than 2 pound a bottlle. This may sound expensive but I oftewn pay more than £4 a bottle as quality counts
