sublim.eiffel hotel is nice near eiffel tower and reasonable price

Airbnb?

I cannot help with places to stay as we stay with family, BUT, if you want places to visit, aside of the norm, then go to Angelina's for a hot chocolate/meal and definitely Le Relais de l'Entrecôte for a steak meal you won't ever forget.

Have fun.

Batagnolles, cheap cheerful and lots of building and gentrifying happening - Airbnb it, near train station 10 min into centre

Whats your budget for accommodation

Congratulations

The Aida hotel is great if you want to stay central but room are kinda small.

It's expensive, take lots of euros! But it is fantastic city!

Hotel Paris Bastille on rue de Lyon, a little in the outskirts so cheaper but was lovely

If you are happy with just a basic room then look at Ibis Budget. We stay at one on Ave Jean Jaures - 3 stops from Gare du Nord.
