im joining quidco "how much does it cost?"

hey guys i need to know how quidco works as i am thinking of buying a £200 item from play.com with a £8 discount being offered with quidco!, any help would be great;)

costs £5 per year, taken off the top of your earnings, you don't pay them anything

its kinda free, all you pay is 5 pounds a year which is taken out of your cashbacks so if you dont get any cashbacks you dont have to pay set it up with a bank for bacs as well because thats free

yes, sign in and then search play.com
and then click on 'click here to visit the merchant' then shop but do not close down the window or you will have to go back through that green box again

    thank you so much;)

Yes then quidco will track your order then it will appear in your earnings. First it will track then will be validated then received by quidco then payed to you. Most people get there big money by getting insurance (car, house) mobile phone contract and banking through quidco you can make huge savings.

Wow I sound like an advert!

Well more members are always better so quidco can negotiate better deals.
Plus Paul will be happy for you lining his pocket!

As for getting your cashback. When it has been paid to quidco they will transfer this to your bank. Just fill in the bank details form on your settings. You can use paypal too if you wish.

hi gav again:):), so can i just order now from play.com(logged in of course with quidich)& get my £8 discount as i will do that now as my girlfriend is in a great mood(for once), and she's willing to pay for my purchase via play.com(£200)

It not discount as such its cashback that play pay to quidco for sending the business there way. They will track your order then pay quidco who then pass it on to you. If you look on the play page on quidco on the right hand side it tells you the stats. Normally tracks within 1 day, 99% track and an average of 3 months to pay.

similar to a phone line cashback, it comes but look it as a bonus rather than a discount!!, anyhow i have hit the"green link to visit merchant and earn cashback" option and that should be good enough right?

Con artist? Where was that from? What have I made out of it? I have found you what you want and saved you money at the same time. Thats what we do here.

Think you have the wrong end of the stick.

What did you miss the '!' and it was a joke. Think you need to chill out. I have nothing to do with quidco or this site. I am just a user just like you. Im here to save money and help people like everybody else here. Having an attitude like that wont get you far here. Im fine with it but many members wont be.

i really apologise IF i caused any unrest against anyone but i have recieved 5 emails regarding how quidco is not so good and this company is great etc etc, i just want to get on with it now, and i honestly thank everyone for your advice and i wish you all well, good luck all:)

I've always wondered why they go down the route of paying cashback? Surely it would be alot easier on both sides if you simply paid a slightly lower price when going through a cashback site rather than having to track cashback? Maybe they just want to hold on to the money for a little longer to get some more interest or want to be able to refuse to pay out if they decide to? It would save them time and money tracking cashback and it would be less hassle for the punters. It would also save them having to make sure the cashback is cancelled for a cancelled transaction or returned item. Obviously if you cancelled or returned the item you would only get back what you paid and they wouldn't have the hassle of cancelling your cashback or paying it by mistake? Would probably save them more money due to things like the recent t-mobile I think I saw paid out. Not that I mind that sort of thing, unfortunately missed that deal tho!!!

Sorry you haven't had the best experience and misunderstood what I was putting forward. I hope the setup all pans out to your liking.

Happy to answer any questions you have and many others like to help too. There arn't that many of the regular members online as it is Friday night. If your unsure about anything you can always ask a mod or use the contact us button at the bottom of the page.

I am interested to know what these emails say as I hve used most of the cashback sites over the time and only find quidco the one worth using. The only other thing I use in nectar for argos and amazon as they are not on quidoco.

To some of us here it’s like a second home. Sad I know but true. Were not a serious site well not in miscellaneous anyway but we do like to stick together, so welcome aboard.

There are always things to be learned and I can’t remember how many times people have helped me on here.
