I'm looking for some nice quality bathroom towels....

...I've only ever bought large towels with characters on (Barbie etc) and never had matching! But new bathroom needs new towels. Any recommendations please? I bought a Ben de Lisi one from Debenhams the other day...does as a hand towel but not fluffy enough for my liking.
p.s I want grey

I have a lovely set of Villeroy & Boch towels - they only come out on special occasions though!

Debenhams has fantastic offers on really nice towels at the moment. There is a voucher code around somewhere, and SHD1 for free delivery...and also quidco

Oh yeah! Forgot Asda...I had a couple from there and they were nice. Bought white and daughter ruined them when she dyed her hair RED!

We got them as a wedding gift and I have only bought two hand towels since! They come in these mega fancy boxes which is what made me buy them.............but then of course you chuck the box in the bin!! A few of our friends chipped together and got us the New Wave dinner set by them too for our wedding and have hardly used it as sooooooooooooooo scared of anything getting broken!

Would have a look in Dunhelm's or BHS as they have lovely towels - and also if you have a local TK Maxx, fab for bargains like this!

Hi Caspar - not saw you about for ages!! How are things - everything good I hope - what country are you in now or are you home!

Yes also agree with JL wee bit more expensive but worth it!

awww that all sounds absolutely amazing!!!!!! And of course you are with your lovely OH now

Yes same old same old - and same old same old on naughty step for same old same old lol

Sorry OP - will get back onto subject now! Why dont you join a local posh gym for a couple of weeks and accidentally forget to leave your lovely fluffy towel in their laundry basket

There's a great deal on at Debenhams at the moment - I got some Egyptian cotton towels in their sale £1.89 for the hand towels, £3.51 for the bath towels and £5.40 for the bath sheets.
They arrived today and are really lovely and such a bargain - the prices were £7, £13 and £20 so they have a big discount on them.
Just ordered another couple and will be a little more as I used a 10% off voucher on the above prices which has expired, but you can still get free delivery and cashback.

I got the taupe but also available in cream, aqua and blue. Search towel and then use the box in the top right to select 'price low to high' and they will be there.

Thanks all! bossyboots...you carry on chatting

Just a note that the bath towels are quite small so if you like to be snug then go for the bath sheets. They are wide enough just a little short - put it this way I wouldn't like going up or down the stairs if someone was behind me or at the bottom of the stairs!!

I did look at Debenhams but couldn't find any bargain grey ones. TK Maxx and Debenhams are almost next to each where I am so I'll go and have another look in there
