incorrect spelling of my name on a speeding ticket notice despite sending them correct info

i received a notice of prosecution thing for speeding - 47 in a 40 - admitted it was me and filled in details. I was then sent a pay up notice which i did and sent my licence with it but also sent a letter asking for leniency. The licence came back - again with the name on the accompanying letter spelt incorrectly - middle name and just a letter misspelt - and then subsequently received a letter - still spelt incorrectly telling me they have taken payment and endorsed my licence and that there would have been no grounds for leniency
Does the fact my middle name is STILL misspelt give me any hope that it can be removed???
ever hopeful but if you dont ask then you never know

If the notice of prosecution contained misspellings then you would have had a case......but the fact that you've paid up invalidates any claim :?
