This is one of hubby's favourite websites. Don't know if its cheap.

Have you looked on Ebay? Not always cheaper but at least you could get an idea of what you want.

Yeah, I think those are the ones which I was looking at in the store.
basically Im looking for a model kit, which is pretty big made out of either
plastic or wood, and then which I can paint.

Yeah iv took a look on ebay, but im not sure which ratio to buy. As I said I dont want something that is small

72:1 is the standard size, which makes something like a spitfire about 15cm long. The bigger models are awesome, wish I had a place to put them!

The smaller the number, the bigger the size ie 1/32 is bigger than 1/72.

This place does HUGE models

oh right I understand, so would 1/24 be pretty big for a car?

Hubby says go for 1/18 or 1/12 scale if you want big!

dead link

I sell airfix models and others, (all different scales) on ebay, same user name as here.

Work out the ratio you want from the size of the original...
Only you know how big "Big" is...
12 foot long original at 1/12th scale = 1 Foot
at 1/6 th scale it's 2 feet long..

Personally I'd go for a full scale blonde inflatable.
Hope this helps..
