Instructions needed for B&Q outdoor double socket on a spike please.

Found 9th Dec 2009
I've just bought the last outdoor double socket on a spike they had in store.
The box was a bit battered and there weren't any instructions.
I didn't think this would matter but it appears you have to teach the unit to recognise the remote.
I can't figure out how to do this.
Has anyone got this ( Pic in next post ) and can you either, describe what to do, or scan / photograph the instructions and e-mail them to me please.
Many thanks.

Just ask nicely - what've you got to lose, and it's not going to cost them anything...

EDIT: Just occurred to me, maybe if we ALL ask the seller...

Don't suppose there's a button on the socket somewhere and one on the remote to 'pair' them?

Press & hold the on/off button until the red light flashes,,Release the on/off button and select a channel,,Point the remote to area around the indicator light and then press off on the desired channel until the red light goes out and you should be done

so says the man on ebay:thumbsup:

Yes agreed, it wouldn't have taken him more than a couple of minutes to … Yes agreed, it wouldn't have taken him more than a couple of minutes to read the instructions and type them out for me, but even a couple of minutes for some people is like asking for the moon. Now I know this guy didn't even have to spend a couple of minutes if he didn't want to.I'm still hoping there are more nice people around than bad people.

Yes, I hope that too. Then today I did a three pointer in the road and this woman (in a car)wouldn't wait for me to do the last swing round to straight bit, and squeezed her way in front of me. I think it took longer for her to squeeze through and give me a mouthful than if she'd have just slowed right down for me. My faith in humanity and nice people dwindled at that point.
