Well Tesco told me they only want to know if something changes the appearance of the car, fog lights, alloy wheels etc. On a £1,000 premium alloy wheels and fog lights added £100 per year, but they put on my insurance that this is for modifications not totalling more than £2,500 or something like that. If you're installing an expensive amp, stereo and speakers just ring them up and let them know that you would like it to be insured. I asked about having an upgraded stereo and speakers, they said they don't care. I don't know if that means it's insured (it better be).
