Im thinking of buying a cheap accident reapired car (CAT D).

Do you have to tell your insurance company that is has been written off, is so does anyone know of any insurance companies that will insure these cars.

Thanks

A lot of companies will insure a cat D.

Do aw compare online,... then give the cheapest a phone call and ask the question.

is that also the case with cat c ?

ive seen a cat c car also

it would definitely be in your interest to let the insurance company know of either of these as the last thing you want is for them to make your policy void should you have an accident and it all comes to light.

Most insurers have a shared information system and should already know it has been written off. However you will need to declare it as such. If you dont it could invalidate your insurance if anything happens in the future
