    Intel i7 pre-built or custom-built PC

    Hi guys,

    Nerdy post here. But I am looking to build, or get built a custom PC.
    Here is the rough specs - so if anybody can find this anywhere on the web for around £1100, then please PLEASE let me know.

    Processor: Intel I7 2.55ghz
    Memory: 6 or 12gb DDR3 1600Mhz
    Motherboard: ASUS Rampage || Extreme
    Graphics: 1 or 2 x Nvidia GEFORCE 9800GT
    HDD: 500gb SATA
    Optical: Blue ray reader, CD/DVD Dual layer burn
    Wi-fi: PCI card
    Power: 800w
    Cooling: Ideally water cooled, but will go copper based if need be
    Case: Coolermaster Cosmos
    Monitor: 24" sweeet looking thing - nothing ugly!

    No operating system required.

    As a matter of interest what OS do you plan to put on it.

    Vista 64 bit or Windows 7.

    lol i was making a list then finished it got 1100 then without a gpu;-). I would spend a little less on the board, maybe not an asus striker. I'd aso wouldn't bother with water cooling as that will add at least £150 onto it, and a coolermaster cosmos is niceley cooled anyway (having one myself). I would reccomend a gtx 275 for ur gpu.

    lol yeah I know right ... I went a bit sloppy on the gpu!
    I think I have it all to 1250 now buying seperates and with 2x gtx 250 instead of a 275.

    I was hoping to just find one pre-built lol - grrrr now I have to order ... wait ... dn'tcha just hate that

    Why two gts 250, a 275 will perfrom better than those, is cheaper and will give you the ability to upgrade in the future
