My xbox 360 cooling system wont fit in my xbox. The power cable is not compatible with the system for some wierd reason. I have tried taking it back to the shop but they are all the same. None of them will fit! Can ayone suggest a solution?

depending on your xbox the power supply connection is slightly different

this was due to a lower wattage power supply unit when the falcon chipset was introduced

^^^ This answer.

The intercooler is based on the old power connection.
Newer models have a smaller connector.

Solution is not to fit them.

The are a waste of money and can cause more harm that good to an Xbox 360 in the long term. Best advice is to have an Xbox 360 with the Jasper chipset (shows 12.1A on the label on the back of the console) as these use less current (and hence power) and so produce less heat due to the chipset for the CPU and GPU being smaller than the original xbox's

Don't use a cooling fan. Far worse for your 360 than not having one. There's countless supporting evidence online to highlight this.
